It opens with a bright burst of lemon and juniper, which can feel slightly sharp or medicinal at first, but quickly dries down into a beautiful, creamy sandalwood and pine scent. The longevity is actually better than the original, lasting a solid 6-8 hours on skin. Highly recommended if you love the original but hate the price tag.
